Elissa Blatt
A Calabasas native, Elissa is deeply ingrained in the community where she lives with her husband and their four children. Elissa graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Media Arts. Since 2000 she’s been working on all things marketing for the group’s properties including the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang, CA, the Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst, The Mansion on Sutter in San Francisco and their organic winery, Coquelicot. When she’s not in the office or spending time with her family, you can find her on the soccer field, cheering on her kids and the LAFC.
Candice Steiner
Born and raised in Calabasas, Candice attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate studies and followed that with a law degree from Cardozo Law School. Professionally, she cut her teeth in real estate, working in development, acquisitions and brokering transactions. She now serves as the Registered In House Counsel for the group that includes the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang, CA, the Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst, The Mansion on Sutter in San Francisco and their organic winery, Coquelicot. Candice also calls Calabasas home where she lives with her spouse and their three children and when she’s not working you can find her volunteering in the community, baking, decorating and catching a Lakers game whenever possible.
Jonathan Rosenson
Jonathan Rosenson, a level 2 sommelier, is our Managing Partner and the Director of Hospitality for a collection of boutique hotels consisting of the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang, CA, the Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst and The Mansion on Sutter in San Francisco. Each boutique hotel offers luxurious dining options such as Michelin Plate awarded First and Oak and The Elderberry House. Jonathan is also the Creative Director and Sommelier for Coquelicot Estate Vineyards organic winery and is heavily involved in their wine growing and wholesale practices. Past endeavors have included The Sky Room in Long Beach, The Wine Cask, Santa Barbara, and Bernard’s Wine Gallery here in Calabasas. With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry Jonathan is a seasoned pro at creating a culinary experience for each guest. Designing elaborate menus, exquisite tastings, and special events are his forte. Jonathan treats his guests just like they were in his own dining room at home.

Chris Flint
Culinary Director
A native of Florida, Chef Flint earned a Master of Culinary Arts degree from the French Culinary Institute in New York and began his career as a Sous Chef at the lauded Bouley restaurant in New York City. Most notably, Chef Chris spent 10 years with the globally acclaimed Make It Nice Hospitality Group. During his tenure, he worked as the Chef de Cuisine at their flagship restaurant, Eleven Madison Park during the restaurant’s award-winning years. He went on to play a pivotal role as the executive chef NoMad New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. After his days with the Make it Nice Group, Chef Chris was the executive Chef at Maude, where they continued their 1 Michelin star. Chef Chris oversees the culinary operations of The Mulholland as well as sister properties, Château du Sureau and The Elderberry Restaurant and the group’s fine dining restaurant First and Oak. Michele Carter
Chef de Cuisine
Hailing from the heart of the Midwest, Michele is an incredible culinary talent with a wealth of experience. She earned her culinary degree from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney, Australia, and her career blossomed at No. 9 Park in Boston, under the mentorship of James Beard Best Restauranteur Award winner and Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef, Barbara Lynch. This foundation served as a launchpad for Michele’s ascension through the ranks of the Barbara Lynch Collection, culminating in a four-year tenure as Executive Chef for the restaurant group. She then stepped into the role of Culinary Director for Big Heart Hospitality in Boston, where she was instrumental in opening their first fine dining restaurant. Read more
Chad Austin
Bar Director
Roots planted firmly in the culture of California, Chad cut his teeth in the bar scenes of Palm Springs. Chad’s award winning program in 2014 at Bootlegger Tiki in Palm Springs opened the doors for Chad’s creativity to fully bloom. By 2017 Chad had consulted on and created bar programs for some of the best bars and restaurants in Palm Springs. In 2018 Chad was named one of the top hospitality professionals of the Coachella Valley as well as one of the most innovative bartenders in the world. Chad has traveled the country teaching young bartenders and enthusiasts the method of creating cocktails with modern techniques and flavor profiles. Read more
